Nil Parry-Jones

Originally from London, I moved to Abergavenny with my husband and 3 children in the Summer of 2005, and have recently joined GBS. Having not sung since school, I joined the Festival Chorus, a South London choir, about 5 years ago and discovered the joys of choral singing. I particularly enjoyed, amongst others, Verdi's Requiem, Haydn;s Nelson Mass, Brahm's German Requiem and Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana.

My life is busy with working 3 days a week at Nevill Hall Hospital, and looking after 3 daughters and a mad lurcher puppy. I find it very therapeuticspending one evening a week immersing myself in singing. The choir have been very friendly and welcoming - and I hope to continue to be a member for many years to come.
